HEGGEL® Linings

HEGGEL® FRP are glass fiber reinforced lining systems that can be applied to both steel and concrete substrates and are suitable for chemically and mechanically stressed areas.
HEGGEL FRP laminate systems are used to seal reinforced concrete and recovery basins when storing liquids, indoors and outdoors or as a flooring product.
HEGGEL FRP systems are subdivided according to their resin base. These include Vinyl-Ester, Furan, Phenolic and Epoxy resin systems, which are used depending on the particular process conditions.

HEGGEL®️  FRP 310

Glass Mat Reinforced Epoxy Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 310 is a yellow-brown glass mat reinforced lining system based on an epoxy resin.

HEGGEL FRP 310 is used both on steel and on concrete surfaces. The coating is suitable for areas subjected to mechanical stresses.

Characteristics:

  • Direct adhering primer on steel and concrete surfaces
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • High temperature resistance up to +160°C (dry)

HEGGEL®️  FRP 320

Multi-Component Phenolic Resin Laminate

HEGGEL FRP 320 is a crack-bridging laminate based on modified phenolic resin, used on primed steel, concrete or HEGGEL acid protection membranes.

HEGGEL FRP 320 is designed as laminate system reinforced with 300 g/m² or 450 g/m² glass fibre mats, suitable for areas in various industries requiring strong resistance to acids, solvents, chlorinated hydrocarbons and methylene chloride.

Characteristics:

  • Excellent chemical resistance, especially against acids and solvents
  • High temperature resistance up to 100°C (dry)
  • Electrically conductive

HEGGEL®️  FRP 321

Glass Mat Reinforced Phenol Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 321 is a black, approx. 3 mm thick; glass mat reinforced lining system based on a phenol resin.

HEGGEL FRP 321 is electrically conductive by using a hybrid mat. HEGGEL FRP 321 can be applied on HEGGEL Pox coatings, sheets or rubber linings.

Characteristics:

  • Excellent chemical resistance, especially against acids and solvents
  • High temperature resistance up to +90°C (dry)
  • Electrically conductive

HEGGEL®️  FRP 333

Glass Mat Reinforced Furan Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 333 is a black glass mat reinforced lining system based on a high-performance furan resin.

HEGGEL FRP 333 is electrically conductive by using a hybrid mat. HEGGEL FRP 333 can be applied on HEGGEL Pox coatings, sheets or rubber linings.

Characteristics:

  • Universal chemical resistance, especially against acids and solvents
  • High temperature resistance up to +100°C (dry)
  • Electrically conductive adjustable
  • Very good storage stability

HEGGEL®️  FRP 340

Bisphenol-A Epoxy Vinyl Ester Based Laminate

HEGGEL FRP 340 is a glass mat reinforced lining system based on a Bisphenol-A epoxy vinyl ester resin, that provides outstanding resistance to a broad range of acids and alkalis, as well as a variety of solvents widely used across many industries. The coating system consists of a primer applied by trowel, a laminate layer and a top coat.

HEGGEL FRP 340 is designed as a lining for internals of steel / concrete storage tanks, vessels, sumps and collecting basins. It is also suitable for the interior and exterior of liquid storage facilities, and can be applied to a wide range of substrates.

Characteristics:

  • Conveniently workable, well drying in the air
  • Temperature resistance on steel up to +100°C
  • Excellent chemical resistance against acids, alkalis, solvents and particularly oxidizing substances
  • Crack-bridging properties
  • Excellent adhesion to concrete surfaces
  • Very good mechanical properties
  • High toughness due to high elongation at break
  • Highly flexibility for handling and storage thanks to the longer shelf life

HEGGEL®️  FRP 341

Glass Mat Reinforced Epoxy Vinyl Ester Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 341 is a glass mat reinforced lining system based on a Bisphenol-A epoxy vinyl ester resin, that provides outstanding resistance to a broad range of acids and alkalis, oxidizing agents, as well as a variety of solvents widely used across many industries. The lining system consists of a primer applied by trowel, a laminate layer and a top coat.

HEGGEL FRP 341 is designed as a lining for internals of steel / concrete storage tanks, vessels, scrubbers, sumps, collecting basins, flue gas desulfurization units and waste water treatment plants. It is also suitable for marine applications and the interior/exterior of liquid storage facilities, and can be applied to a wide range of substrates

HEGGEL®️  FRP 343

Vinyl Ester based Laminate System

HEGGEL FRP 343 is a glass fiber reinforced coating system based on high-performance Vinyl Ester resin, composed of HEGGEL FRP 343 Primer, Optional HEGGEL FRP 343 pre-filling and HEGGEL FRP 343 Solution reinforced with glass fiber mat and glass fleece.

HEGGEL FRP 343 is designed as a lining to protect concrete and metal substrates against a wide range of industrial processes. HEGGEL FRP 343 Laminate can be used as a crack-bridging seal (crack width ≤ 0.4 mm) of catch areas made of steel concrete within buildings and outdoors. The laminate is suitable for floors that need to be passed with pneumatic full rubber tyres, with Vulkollan tyres or with polyamide tyres.
