HEGGEL®️ Corr
HEGGEL Corr is a novel and extremely high performance protective coating with superior chemical resistance in a wide thermal range from normal ambient temperature up to 550 °C.
The exclusive properties of HEGGEL Corr are based on its unique molecular structure, which consists of both organic and inorganic molecules.
Accordingly, HEGGEL Corr offers a thermally stable highly crosslinked structure, impermeable properties, superior resistance to extremely aggressive chemical stress and excellent mechanical abrasion resistance.
HEGGEL Corr products are applied as a single layer directly to the substrate and cure at ambient temperatures. The application is carried out by airless spraying or optionally by brush and does not require any primer or undercoat. Long service life and easy repairability are further outstanding features of HEGGEL Corr products.
HEGGEL®️ Corr 210
2-C High-Tech Corrosion Resistant Coating
HEGGEL Corr 210 is an advanced coating system derived from a novel technology that combines, on a molecular level, both organic and inorganic molecules to provide a thermally stable highly crosslinked structure. It offers superior broad range chemical resistance from sub ambient to elevated temperatures in excess of 190°C, after only an ambient cure. The cured coating has excellent sliding abrasion resistance coupled with a very smooth finish that enhances fluid flow and prevents sludge build up. HEGGEL Corr 210 can be steam cleaned at temperatures exceeding 190°C (374°F).

HEGGEL®️ Corr 212
Superior Corrosion Resistant Coating
HEGGEL Corr 212 is a state-of-the-art semi paste-grade coating system developed from innovative technologies, that meld organic and inorganic molecular structures at the fundamental level. The resulting thermal stability, and highly crosslinked structure, affords an unmatched spectrum of chemical resistance from sub-ambient temperatures to those exceeding 225°C, with only ambient curing required. The cured coating not only offers outstanding adhesive strength but also displays resistance to sliding abrasion and a notably smooth finish, making it ideal for fluid flow enhancement and sludge build-up prevention. HEGGEL Corr 212 is able to withstand steam cleaning process at temperatures above 225°C. Moreover, the option for an on-site application on the exterior of a hot surface is available through HEGGEL Corr 212.

HEGGEL®️ Corr 240
Super Pressure Modified Phenol Resin
HEGGEL Corr 240 cures rapidly to provide a smooth highly abrasion resistance finish that improves fluid flow and prevents build-up of paraffin, asphaltene and scale. An extremely high coating adhesive strength in excess of 4200 psi coupled with resistance to gas permeation allows it to withstand explosive decompression cycles. It is resistant to elevated temperatures up to 180°C dry heat and 150°C under gaseous immersed conditions.

Super Alloy Ceramic Metal Epoxy
HEGGEL Corr 250 is a hand applied coating specifically designed for providing very high abrasion resistance to areas suffering erosion and wear damage from impacting particles and especially resistant to fine particle abrasion. Can be applied up to a DFT of 15 mm.

Ultra Smooth Super Flow Coating
HEGGEL Corr 260 is the ultimate energy efficiency and life extender for critical equipment. Specifically designed to provide an ultra-smooth, frictionless surface that increases fluid flow and prevents cavitation, erosion, fouling and sludge build up. Used as a surface coat in combination with HEGGEL Fix products you can prolong equipment life and increase its initial engineering performance specification. It will reduce the equipment maintenance budget as well as energy consumption thereby reducing overall running cost.

HEGGEL Corr 270 (Liquid Graphite) is an advanced coating system designed to protect components that carry fluorinated acids and more specifically hydrofluoric acid at ambient and elevated temperatures. The maximum operating temperature will depend upon the type of chemical being used.

Advanced Phenolic Hybrid Lining
HEGGEL Corr 290 an innovative, modified phenolic hybrid coating system, is meticulously formulated to provide protection for equipment involved in the conveyance of nitric acid and more specifically, oxygenating chemicals at both ambient and elevated temperatures. The maximum operational temperature resistance depends on the specific chemicals in use.

HEGGEL Coat 101 is a high-performance coating which is especially suitable as corrosion protection for structural steel works, pipelines and concrete surfaces of any kind, for example in the chemical industry, water treatment industry, petrochemical industry, mining, ship building etc. HEGGEL Coat 101 is non-saponifiable high abrasion resistant coating, offering excellent chemicals resistance, in particular in the alkaline range and good resistance to thaw and de-icing salt. This product is approved for AWWA C210-15, "Liquid-Epoxy Coating Systems for the Interior and Exterior of Steel Water Pipelines".

High-Performance Corrosion Protection Coating
HEGGEL Coat 111 is a two-component epoxy coating, comprising micro-ceramic particles within a cutting-edge Novolac-resin base, exhibiting outstanding corrosion protection properties. HEGGEL Coat 111 is a cost-effective coating solution with superior abrasion resistance, specifically designed to protect steel structures from corrosion-induced deterioration. Application of HEGGEL Coat 111 can be done through airless spray equipment, allowing for a high-build, single-coat application. However, multiple applications are also possible. Its unique formulation eliminates the need for a primer, though an epoxy zinc primer can be applied if necessary. For manual applications, the specially formulated HEGGEL Coat 122 is recommended, which is optimized for hand application.

HEGGEL Coat 141 must be applied by using airless spray equipment with a flow heater and is suitable as an electrically conductive lining of steel tanks, containers and pipes at the chemical industry.

HEGGEL®️ Coat 151
2-C-PU-Spray Coating
HEGGEL Coat 151 is a polyurethane spray coating which is resistant to acids and alkalis. The coating can be used as protection against corrosion, also as a lining for storage containers and tanks that contain dangerous liquids, A III, heating oil EL and diesel oil. It may also be used for the protection of battery trays / racks. HEGGEL Coat 151 cures at temperatures + 5°C. HEGGEL Coat 151 if sprayed in multiple passes on vertical surfaces, it can be built up to a considerable thickness. HEGGEL Coat 151 has a high resistance to abrasion, and is also suitable for use in wastewater treatment plants.

HEGGEL Coat 190 is an economical, weatherproof, coloured topcoat which is especially suitable as protection against weather conditions and aggressive atmospheric influences. Due to the special acrylate polymer combination it is possible to achieve abrasion resistant surfaces which are easy to clean. HEGGEL Coat 190 is suitable for use as topcoat on most surfaces / coating systems for steel and concrete (we recommend to apply a test area) where a durable, weather resistant finish is required. Apply HEGGEL Coat 190 by using brush, roller or airless spray equipment.

HEGGEL®️ Coat 191
1-C-topcoat, coloured, silk matt
HEGGEL Coat 191 is an economical, weatherproof, protective and coloured topcoat which is especially suitable as protection of steel constructions for hydraulic engineering and offshore constructions. It protects surfaces against aggressive influences from the atmosphere with self-cleaning properties up to a certain extent. Due to the special acrylate polymer combination it is possible to achieve abrasion resistant surfaces which are easy to clean. HEGGEL Coat 191 is suitable for use as topcoat on most surfaces (we recommend to apply a test area) where a durable, weather - resistant finish is required.

2-C UV-resistant Polyurethane Topcoat
HEGGEL Coat 192 is a two-component polyurethane-based topcoat with long-term UV resistance and high weatherability. Due to the highly crosslinked polyurethane structure, HEGGEL Coat 192 features excellent physical properties and exceptional color stability.

HEGGEL®️ FLAKE
HEGGEL Flake stands for low-diffusion, chemically and thermally resistant synthetic resin coatings, which are enriched with glass flakes (wafer-thin, micro-fine, transparent glass flakes). Glass flakes are lamellar barrier pigments that line up parallel to the substrate. In this way, an excellent barrier effect is created which makes the penetration of moisture, gas and chemicals considerably more difficult and thus ensures a long lifetime of the coating. HEGGEL Flake coating systems are mainly used in chimneys, gas preheaters, heat exchangers or gas ducts in flue gas desulphurisation plants.
In addition, HEGGEL Flake offers high dry temperature resistance, outstanding adhesion to steel and high abrasion resistance.
HEGGEL Flake products are self-priming single or multi-layer systems, with extreme adhesion to concrete and steel.
HEGGEL Flake systems are applied by airless-spraying, brushing or rolling.
HEGGEL®️ Flake 710
2-C- C-glass flake filled polymer coating
HEGGEL Flake 710 is a two-component; vapour diffusion resistant, inert flake filled polymer coating based on a chemical and thermal resistant Novolac vinyl ester resin. HEGGEL Flake 710 is the ideal corrosion protection if high chemical resistance is required at high medium temperatures. The parallel to the substrate oriented inert flakes provide an excellent diffusion barrier and thus ensure a long service life.

Solid Heavy Duty Glass Flake
HEGGEL Flake 720 provides a smooth and glossy finish that is impervious to aqueous environments at ambient temperature. The coating can be applied onto damp/wet steel and concrete surfaces. Primary protection is against seawater service with added benefit of resistance to turbulent flow, cavitation and particulate impact and abrasion.

Possess excellent abrasion resistance and has excellent resistance to immersion in sea water and a range of chemicals also compatible with cathodic protection.
