HEGGEL Flex 510 is a low-emission, free-flow, two-component and flexible polyurethane coating suitable for smooth, energy-elastic coatings, as well as for slip resistant scattered coatings. The coating has good flow and smoothing properties and cures with almost no shrinkage. The cured coating is hard and tough but also flexible and resistant to mechanical load. HEGGEL Flex 510 offers special advantages where increased flexibility is necessary due to, e.g. substrate susceptible to deformation, like mastic asphalt, flake boards, metallic and reconstruction substrate. The resistance to chemicals like water, salt solutions, diluted acids and alkalis, mineral oil, and diesel fuel is sufficient. For organic acids, polyurethane coatings offer special advantages. Note: HEGGEL Flex 510 is available in different colours. Even though due to its chemical structure the material is not resistant to yellowing. Slight colour tone alteration is possible. Please note our general recommendation on colour / colour tones. Pale colours should be additionally sealed with colour stable HEGGEL Flex 537. Attention: Sealers are suitable only to a limited extent for forklift-traffic. Please seek advice. Indentions cannot be excluded for concentrated point load.

HEGGEL Flex 514 is a two-component polyurethane coating, coloured. VOC < 1 %, practically emission-free, tested acc. to AgBB – scheme. HEGGEL Flex 514 must always be sealed with a system specific topcoat.

Due to its tough-elastic properties, it is suitable for industrial applications i.e. production plants, offices, supermarkets, showrooms, hospitals and schools. HEGGEL Flex 514 can be used on concrete, cement screed, magnesia, anhydrite / gypsum, steel, timber and industrial asphalt floors. Please ask for detailed information. With HEGGEL Flex 514 you can create a flooring system that absorbs sound, is hard-wearing, seamless, hygienic and decorative. HEGGEL Flex 514 is suitable for public buildings e.g. schools, hospitals, kindergartens, shopping malls and other indoor projects with high requirements to room climate. HEGGEL Flex 514 has been approved in accordance with the AgBB - scheme for health-related evaluation of emissions from building products used for application indoors.

HEGGEL Flex 515 is a two-component, self levelling polyurethane coating, colored. VOC < 500 g/L.

HEGGEL Flex 515 is a multifunctional industrial floor coating which is suitable for use on substrates e.g., concrete, cement screed, mastic asphalt (indoor), latexfalt, timber, steel, aluminum, magnesia and anhydrite / gypsum (please consult us!). The combination of high impact resistance, high compressive strength and its crack-bridging properties makes HEGGEL Flex 515 the best economical system choice for use in production plants, sales areas, warehouses, exhibition halls, garages and showrooms. HEGGEL Flex 515 is suitable for both new construction and renovation. Using the high quality HEGGEL Flex - sealers optimizes the surface properties e.g., silk matt finish / UV resistance, higher abrasion and chemical resistance.

HEGGEL Flex 520 is a photo-stable, pigmented, two-component polyurethane coating, cures without shrinkage. HEGGEL Flex 520 is suitable for pale-coloured coatings on decorative interior floors. The flexible cured coating offers special walking comfort. The coating is especially suitable for interior areas with a high demand to the optical appearance, e.g. living rooms, offices, doctor’s offices, fitness centers and wellness areas, schools, and many more. The coating is not suitable for industrially used areas with an increased mechanical load. The flexible floor coating is applicable for layers starting at 1.5 mm. It is also suitable for deformable substrate, like mastic asphalt, or even older substrate, like e.g. reconstruction areas. HEGGEL Flex 520 offers good resistance to many common household chemicals, water, salt solutions, diluted acids and bases. Conditionally resistant to solvents. The coating is available in all standard Colours; the usage is especially reasonable when pale colours are required. HEGGEL Flex 520 offers good resistance to abrasion. Although it is generally recommended to use a suitable sealer, like e.g. HEGGEL Flex 535, or HEGGEL Flex 537 on top. It is necessary to use the transparent sealer HEGGEL Flex 535 when scattering with colour flakes. Note: When a low-emission coating is required, use HEGGEL Flex 522.

HEGGEL Flex 522 is a high-quality, two-component, free-flow coating based upon a liquid polyurethane resin. HEGGEL Flex 522 is used for flexible coatings especially for interior areas with impact sound insulation and decorative features. HEGGEL Flex 522 is used for areas which require good usage, comfort, and an appealing appearance like show-rooms, office and sale-rooms, hospitals, and so on. On the contrary to other known polyurethane industrial coatings, HEGGEL Flex 522 is made of photo-stable raw materials. Because the coating is photo stable, even pale, bright, and decorative colour tints are available. The coating has good free-flow and smoothing properties and cures with almost no shrinkage. The cured coating shows good flexibility and is crack-bridging starting at layers of 2 mm. HEGGEL Flex 522 is used for interior areas requiring more flexibility due to the substrate, e.g. mastic asphalt, flake boards, metallic substrates, and reconstruction areas. To increase the walking comfort and to increase the impact sound insulation HEGGEL Flex 522 may be combined with the flexible interlayer HEGGEL Flex 512. The material offers good resistance to water, salt solutions, diluted alkalis, and acids. HEGGEL Flex 522 is available in HEGGEL-standard colours and may also be produced in pale and brilliant special colours. The coating is very suitable for Colour flakes scattering. HEGGEL Flex 522 offers good abrasion resistance qualities. Sealing is generally recommended with suitable top sealers like HEGGEL Flex 530, HEGGEL Flex 533, or HEGGEL Flex 535.

HEGGEL Flex 530 and HEGGEL Flex 531 are both two-component sealers with a matt surface finish and contain solvents. HEGGEL Flex 530 is non-pigmented and HEGGEL Flex 531 is available in different colour tones. Both products contain solvents and are subject to the hazardous goods regulations. Both products are suitable for even, matt commercially and industrially used surfaces. The sealers are suitable for polyurethane and epoxy resin coatings. Ensure the product combination possibilities. Yellowing polyurethane coatings should be coated with a covering sealer like HEGGEL Flex 531. HEGGEL Flex 530 and HEGGEL Flex 531 are made of high-quality raw materials. The products are resistant to yellowing and are predominantly used for areas with decorative requirements. In industrial areas with forklift truck traffic, thin seal-coats may wear off as a result of braking and it should, therefore, be tested in individual cases as, to whether the use of the sealer is reasonable. The product offers resistance to diluted acids and alkalis, salt solutions and short-term exposure to solvents. Polyurethane sealing products do not have adequate resistance to tyres and long exposure may leave an imprint. Epoxy resin sealers like HEGGEL Pox 470, are recommended.

HEGGEL Flex 533 and HEGGEL Flex 534 are 2-component sealers, very resistant to abrasion, resulting in a satin finished surface. Contains solvents. HEGGEL Flex 533 is a non-pigmented sealer, HEGGEL Flex 534 is available in different colours. Sealing will result in a finely shagreened, satin finished surface, which can be build with suitable short-floor rollers. Use HEGGEL Flex 533 and HEGGEL Flex 534 for decorative, commercially used areas. When using the transparent system HEGGEL Flex 533 color flakes may be added. The sealer is suitable for polyurethane and epoxy resin coatings. Keep within the processing time depending on the product combination. Yellowing polyurethane coatings should be sealed with a covering HEGGEL Flex 534. Transparent sealers can be used on darker unsusceptible colours. HEGGEL Flex 533 and HEGGEL Flex 534 are made of high-quality raw materials. The sealer is almost resistant to yellowing and is predominantly used for decorative areas. For industrial areas with material handling equipment thin sealing-coats may be abraded by braking tires. Test for the suitability of the material. The product is resistant to diluted acids and, bases, and salt-solutions. Temporarily resistant to solvents. Polyurethane coatings are not sufficiently resistant to tire abrasion. Tire marks can be generated by prolonged holding times. Use acrily or cardbord box pads or seal with epoxy resin sealers, like e.g. HEGGEL POX 469 or HEGGEL Pox 470. HEGGEL Flex 533 and HEGGEL Flex 534 contain solvents and are subject to the hazardous material regulation.

HEGGEL Flex 535 is a high-quality, unpigmented two-component polyurethane sealer for the matt finish sealing of epoxy resin and polyurethane coatings.

HEGGEL Flex 535 is based on a new environmentally friendly technology and offers a great alternative to solvent consistent sealers and may replace these in wide areas.

The sealer results in even, matt surfaces which grant a pleasant and nice optical appearance. The reflecting “mirror-effect” of glossy coatings is reduced by the light dispersion of the surface. The product is preferably used for optically demanding areas. HEGGEL Flex 535-R10 is the sealer´s anti-slip version.

Note: The processing information and the technical data of the slip-resistant sealer do not differ from standard product.

HEGGEL Flex 535 cures by physical drying and chemical cross-linking to a consistent sturdy film. The product results in a hard and tough, abrasion-proof, photostable film with very little tendency to staining. Very well cleanable.

HEGGEL Flex 535 offers good resistance to aqueous solutions, diluted acids and alkalis, as well as engine and fuel oil. The product shows very little tendency to staining to household-chemicals or strongly dyeing foodstuffs, drinks and tobacco like beer/ale, red wine or coke. Because of the water vapour permeable calibration, the product may be used as a sealer for permeable coatings like HEGGEL Pox 433.

HEGGEL Flex 535 offers good adhesion on different substrates and may therefore be used on older epoxy and polyurethane surfaces after conducting a trial and testing the interlayer.

Note: Sealed surfaces offer only limited resistance to mechanical load; Material handling equipment may affect or destroy the sealer. Limited extent usage. In very or frequently wet areas as well as areas exposed to chemicals, sealers containing solvents would be more appropriate.

HEGGEL Flex 540 is an elastic two-component polyurethane coating, used as a floating layer for crack-bridging surface protection systems in accordance with RILI-SIB OS11a/b.

HEGGEL Flex 540 is used in the system as an intermediate layer, flexible even at low temperatures, in underground car park and multi-storey car park coatings with an increased risk of crack formation. In accordance with the DAfStb (German Committee for Reinforced Concrete) guideline on the protection and maintenance of concrete structures, the product is suitable for the application of car park surfaces with OS11 coating, with increased dynamic crack-bridging capability for surfaces that can be walked and driven on.

HEGGEL Flex 540 is resistant to frost and de-icing salt and permanently protects the fabric of the building against the penetration of water and de-icing salt.

HEGGEL Flex 540 is a component of a complete car park system for surfaces that are exposed to different requirements.

HEGGEL Flex 544 is an elastic 2-component polyurethane coating used as a wear layer for crack-bridging surface protection systems according to RILI-SIB OS11a in underground car park and multi-storey car park coatings.

HEGGEL Flex 544 is used to form the system's top wear coat.

To achieve this, HEGGEL Flex 544 is pre-filled with natural quartz sand with grain size 0.1/0.3 mm and the entire surface is scattered with natural quartz sand grain size 0.3/0.8 mm. In accordance with the DAfStb (German Committee for Reinforced Concrete) guideline on the protection and maintenance of concrete structures, the product is suitable for the application of OS 11a car park coatings with increased dynamic crack-bridging capability for surfaces which can be walked and driven on.

HEGGEL Flex 544 is resistant to frost and de-icing salt and permanently protects the building fabric against the permeation of water and de-icing salt.

HEGGEL Flex 550 is a free-flow, solvent-free, two-component polyurethane coating and sealer. The product is suitable as flexible interlayer underneath coatings. Especially suitable for kitchen areas as well as a crack-bridging sealing coat underneath reactive resin coating (decorative coatings). Suitable for interior and exterior areas.

HEGGEL Flex 550 with a subsequent covering and colour stable top sealer is suitable for areas with light mechanical load. The coat is not suitable for the industrial usage. The coating offers very good flow -and smoothing proper- ties and cures without shrinkage. The cured coating offers high flexibility.

HEGGEL Flex 550 offers special advantages where high flexibility is necessary due to the substrate, e.g. for weak and susceptible for deformation substrate like mastic asphalt, flake boards, metallic and reconstruction substrate. The resistance to chemicals like water, salt solutions, mineral oil, diluted alkalis, and acids is sufficient. Limited resistance to concentrated chemicals, like acids, bases, and many more. Low resistance to solvents.

Note: HEGGEL Flex 550 is available in different colours. Because of its chemical structure the material is not resistant to yellowing. Slight colour alterations are possible due to technical reasons. Please note our indications on colour / colour tones. Pale colours may additionally be sealed with the colour stable HEGGEL Flex 537. Point load may become visible.

HEGGEL Flex 560 is a two-component, solvent-free, coloured and pre-filled trowel coating based on a polyurethane resin for applications on mineral, reactive resin bound and on asphalt-bound substrates.

HEGGEL Flex 560 is used as a protective liner on the indoor and outdoor areas with moderate mechanical and chemical stress, where especially good crack bridging capability is required. Main fields of applications are, industrial halls, process and storage halls, basement garages (underground car parks), and sanitary constructions. Either smooth or anti-skid coatings which are fulfilling the requirements of the relevant professional association can be built up with HEGGEL Flex 560. The product is also suitable for use in continuously wet areas. A primer layer is always necessary.
