HEGGEL® Linings

HEGGEL® FRP are glass fiber reinforced lining systems that can be applied to both steel and concrete substrates and are suitable for chemically and mechanically stressed areas.
HEGGEL FRP laminate systems are used to seal reinforced concrete and recovery basins when storing liquids, indoors and outdoors or as a flooring product.
HEGGEL FRP systems are subdivided according to their resin base. These include Vinyl-Ester, Furan, Phenolic and Epoxy resin systems, which are used depending on the particular process conditions.

HEGGEL®️  FRP 310

Glass Mat Reinforced Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 310 is a yellow-brown, approx. 3 mm thick glass mat reinforced lining system based on an epoxy resin.

Characteristics:

  • Direct adhering primer on steel and concrete surfaces
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • High temperature resistance up to +160°C (dry)

HEGGEL®️  FRP 320

Glass Mat Reinforced Phenol Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 320 is a black, approx. 3 mm thick; glass mat reinforced lining system based on a phenol resin. HEGGEL FRP 320 is electrically conductive by using a hybrid mat.

Characteristics:

  • Excellent chemical resistance, especially against acids and solvents
  • High temperature resistance up to 100°C (dry)
  • Electrically conductive

HEGGEL®️  FRP 321

Glass Mat Reinforced Phenol Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 321 is a black, approx. 3 mm thick; glass mat reinforced lining system based on a phenol resin. HEGGEL FRP 321 is electrically conductive by using a hybrid mat.

Characteristics:

  • Excellent chemical resistance, especially against acids and solvents
  • High temperature resistance up to +90°C (dry)
  • Electrically conductive

HEGGEL®️  FRP 330

Glass Mat Reinforced Furan Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 330 is a black, approx. 2-3 mm thick; glass mat reinforced lining system based on a furan resin.

Characteristics:

  • Universal chemical resistance, especially against acids and solvents
  • High temperature resistance up to +100°C (dry)
  • Electrically conductive adjustable
  • Very good storage stability

HEGGEL®️  FRP 340

Glass Mat Reinforced Vinyl Ester Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 340 is an approx. 3 mm thick; glass mat reinforced lining system based on a Novolac vinyl ester resin. The coating system consists of a trowel applied primer, a laminate layer and optionally a top coat. The top coat is used optionally, if an electrical conductive or a grey surface is required.

Characteristics:

  • Temperature resistant up to +100°C on steel
  • Excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and especially oxidizing agents
  • Crack-bridging properties. Can bridge cracks of ≤ 0.25 mm in concrete according EN 14879-3
  • Electrically Conductive
  • Drivable
  • Excellent adhesion to concrete surfaces
  • Very good mechanical properties

HEGGEL®️  FRP 341

Glass Mat Reinforced Novolac Vinyl Ester Lining System

HEGGEL FRP 341 is an approx. 3 mm thick; glass mat reinforced lining system based on a Novolac vinyl ester resin. The coating system consists of a trowel applied primer, a laminate layer and optionally a top coat. The top coat is used optionally, if an electrical conductive or a grey surface is required.

Characteristics:

  • Temperature resistant up to +100°C on steel
  • Excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and especially oxidizing agents

HEGGEL®️  FRP 343

Novolac Vinyl Ester based laminate system/span>

HEGGEL FRP 343 is an approx. 3 mm thick; glass mat reinforced lining system based on a Novolac vinyl ester resin. The coating system consists of a trowel applied primer, a laminate layer and optionally a topcoat.

Characteristics:

  • Temperature resistant up to +100°C on steel
  • Excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and especially oxidizing agents
  • Drivable
  • Excellent adhesion to concrete surfaces
  • Very good mechanical properties
  • Crack-bridging properties. Can bridge cracks of ≤ 0.25 mm in concrete according EN 14879-3
