HEGGEL Coat represents high performance, innovative corrosion protection coatings with excellent chemical resistance and remarkable mechanical abrasion resistance. These exceptional properties are created by incorporating micro- and nanoparticles into a state-of-the-art resin matrix. HEGGEL Coat systems protect various substrates such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, concrete, GRP, etc. against a wide variety of process conditions.
Our solvent-free coatings cure quickly at ambient temperatures, are easy to apply in a single application, and do not require any primer or undercoat.
HEGGEL Coat is applied directly by airless spraying and builds up excellent adhesion to the substrate.

Epoxy based Protective Coating, AWWA C210-15 approved
HEGGEL Coat 101 is a two-component solvent-free coating based on epoxy, with high quality corrosion protective pigments and inhibitors. The special combination with micaceous iron oxide (MIO) in the common DB colour shades, increases the diffusion barrier and thus the corrosion protection and weather resistance at interim weathering of the partial protection system (transport and installation period).

HEGGEL®️ Coat 111
High-Performance Corrosion Protection Epoxy Coating
HEGGEL Coat 111 is a two-component epoxy coating, comprising micro-ceramic particles within a cutting-edge Novolac-resin base, exhibiting outstanding corrosion protection properties. HEGGEL Coat 111 is a cost-effective coating solution with superior abrasion resistance, specifically designed to protect steel structures from corrosion-induced deterioration. Application of HEGGEL Coat 111 can be done through airless spray equipment, allowing for a high-build, single-coat application. However, multiple applications are also possible. Its unique formulation eliminates the need for a primer, though an epoxy zinc primer can be applied if necessary. For manual applications, the specially formulated HEGGEL Coat 122 is recommended, which is optimized for hand application.

Epoxy Coating with Bionic Corrosion Inhibitor
HEGGEL Coat 141 is a two-component epoxy coating with bionic corrosion inhibitor. HEGGEL Coat 141 is designed for use as high-performance chemical and abrasion resistant coating and offers excellent anticorrosion properties combined with good resistance to aggressive, flammable and non-flammable liquids and chemicals. Its free of benzyl alcohol and nonylphenol and VOC<2%. HEGGEL Coat 141 must be applied by using airless spray equipment with a flow heater.

HEGGEL®️ Coat 145
Potable Water Application Epoxy Based Coating
HEGGEL Coat 145 is a two-component, liquid, solvent-free epoxy based coating with amine hardener designed for protection applications requiring direct contact with potable water. The coating is applied using a 2-K or 1-K airless hot spray system and forms a protective layer with high film build. It can achieve a 900 μm layer thickness in one application. The formulation is designed with reference to the technical requirements of BS 6920:2014 and AWWA C210.

Polyurethane Spray Coating
HEGGEL Coat 151 is a two-component polyurethane spray coating, coloured. It is resistant to acids and alkalis. HEGGEL Coat 151 if sprayed in multiple passes on vertical surfaces, it can be built up to a considerable thickness. HEGGEL Coat 151 has a high resistance to abrasion.

Surface-Tolerant Epoxy Mastic / Primer / Coating
HEGGEL Coat 165 is a two-component, surface-tolerant, biobased aluminum mastic/primer/coating based on special epoxy resins and a modified phenalkamine curing agent. The aluminum mastic variant is designed to comply with EPA requirements while providing reliable corrosion protection and strong adhesion on less-than-ideal surfaces. It is developed as a maintenance primer/coating for steel structures, suitable for application on Sa2½ blast-cleaned surfaces, and designed to also provide adequate performance on lower preparation levels such as St2 and hand-prepared substrates, as well as on existing coating systems. Due to its early water resistance, it can be applied at high relative humidity (up to 90%) and on damp surfaces. The coating is recoatable with itself, as well as with epoxy, polyurethane, vinyl, and alkyd coatings, offering flexibility in maintenance and repair applications.

HEGGEL Coat 170 is a one-component heat-resistant coating based on high-quality silicone resins, designed for application as a topcoat in coating systems for steel structures exposed to elevated temperatures. The coating provides thermal resistance up to 400 °C for black shades and up to 550 °C for aluminium shades under dry load conditions. When used in combination with the HEGGEL Coat 178 primer as part of a suitable multi-layer coating system, corrosion protection up to class C4 can be achieved.

Polyurethane based Silk Gloss Topcoat
HEGGEL Coat 195 is a two-component, solvent-based and tough-hard polyurethane topcoat. Because of its aliphatic nature, it shows excellent chemical and abrasion resistance specially against lubricants, fuels, saline solutions, diluted acids and alkalis. It can achieve a highly aesthetic silk gloss finish on HEGGEL Coat systems. HEGGEL Coat 195 is coloured with high pigment content which is inert and harmless once cured.
